GOOD FISH BUT YA PAY EXTRA FOR RICE My parents love this hole in the wall korean spot so I called in and ordered the croaker fish. $34 for 2 fish. Pricey but that fine because it was big meaty flavorful fish. This is a typical old school Korean spot. Only complaint would be they gave me 1 rice and when I asked for another they charged me $2. I said since it's two people eating it can't they just give me another rice and they said NO.

My family has been coming here for years. Very friendly waitresses, never ending delicious side dishes and good quality of meat. This typical Korean restaurant is located at a small plaza. But no worry about the parking space.

This is one of the best authentic Korean places you can get. Better than most places in LA County or OC. For some credibility, I am Korean. The taste is flavorful but clean. Everything is good but my favorites are the grilled pork, cold radish noodles, beef rib soup and soon tofu. My kids inhale all the side dishes everytime we come. All the waitresses are so friendly and always happy to see us. Parking is plentiful in the back.

Small sized restaurant. We went off hours, so there was no problem with parking right up front. Server was very attentive. We ordered the BBQ for 3 to 4 people, which easily fed 4 of us. The quality of meat was good, and I liked that the pork came out cooked so we could put it on the grill to crisp. The grill was different than most; cooking wasn't done directly on a grill above an open flame. The meat didn't get stuck to the grill, I didn't go home smelling like bbq, and surprisingly, I didn't miss the flame grilled taste. Banchan (which is a big factor for me) was tasty, with a potato one I never had before. The kimchi was excellent!

In terms of looks and customer service, it's your typical Korean restaurant run by Korean ahjummas. We ordered the yooksoo bulgogi, samgyupsal, and ahgoo jjiim. All items were delicious! The yooksoo bulgogi is served almost shabu style where you can dip the meat in the broth/sauce to cook it. The samgyupsal is served with special uncut kimchi for you to cook alongside it. The ahgoo jjiim was flavorful. They recommended that we let them "pre-cook" the samgyupsal a bit in the kitchen to save us time waiting for it to cook on the grill. When it arrived, my boyfriend was a bit skeptical of how exactly they pre-cooked it, as he's worked at a KBBQ place before and the appearance of the meat was reminiscent of microwave defrosting. But we just made sure to cook it until the samgyupsal was crispy, and so it still tasted good! But just something to think about if they offer to pre-cook the meat for you.

My family has been coming here for years, but I decided to give it a review. To preface, my parents started coming here before we had smartphones and reliable broadband Internet so they had no idea Korean BBQ places were something you did yourself. The owners or waitstaff explained it to them, but my parents still asked if the food could be cooked in the back and the owners obliged. Since then, my family has been semi-regulars of this spot. Even as more Korean restaurants have popped up in the area, my parents always prefer coming here for the dak bulgogi (chicken bbq). Very few Korean places in the area offer a good chicken marinated option like this. Most offer teriyaki-like (so a really sweet marinade), but their marinade is good balance of sweet and savory. The dak bulgogi is really my favorite thing here, As for the daeji bulgogi/spicy pork bbq, it's good, but it's something that other places have done better. The cut is thin pieces of pork that practically melt in your mouth, but the marinade isn't particularly spicy and relies heavily on oil. Still I enjoy it and especially enjoy using it the next day for some cooking. Service can be hit or miss here, but with COVID, it's worth considering giving long-time restaurants here a shot.
